Suddenly, there's something distinctly furry lying on the ground here. Seems like his entry to the zone wasn't exactly smooth. Right now he's just lying there, trying to catch his breath.

Though, that's strange. He resembles a certain blue hedgehog, doesn't he?]

You can thank Dr. Eggman for the new look. He split open the planet with the chaos emeralds, and since then, things have gotten pretty ugly.

[His eyes narrow slightly. Yeah, he remembered Eggman splitting the planet...but then? He was unconscious on one of the broken pieces. Since then...]

Then what do you remember?

Eggman draining the Chaos Emeralds. Then I blacked out as the world was splitting up. I don't remember anything until waking up in a hole near Apotos. Not sure how I got there at all, which...kind of stinks.

Nope, just me. Though Tails ended up in Apotos too, eventually.

Because when I landed there, I met a little guy who lost his memories. I decided to help him out, and he's been with me ever since.

[Which is... only a few days, but still. They're pals.

Though this begs the question of where Chip is right now.]
