Suddenly, there's something distinctly furry lying on the ground here. Seems like his entry to the zone wasn't exactly smooth. Right now he's just lying there, trying to catch his breath.

Though, that's strange. He resembles a certain blue hedgehog, doesn't he?]

Tails?

[Well, rough landing or not, it doesn't take Sonic long to get up to his feet.]

I'm fine. Just forgot to pack a parachute.

[And, in a typical Sonic fashion, he has to make some kinda snappy remark.]

[Well if he's making jokes, than he's okay.] More like you never use one.

[He then notices Sonic's look and looks confused.] Why are you in that...form again?

Again?

[But didn't they go over this on the way out of Apotos? Not to mention he changed into the werehog again when they rescued Professor Pickle.]

Because the sun went down, just like before.

What do y- [He then realizes something.] Oh! My bad. I guess this place pulls people from different times as well as different worlds. I'm a year ahead of you it sounds like.

A year? So we're dealing with time and world travel?

[He can handle both of them, sure. Sonic just didn't expect a combination of the two.

Heh. He glances around, taking in the Sonic decor and all those big rings...]

Sounds like a wild ride.

[He nods.] Yeah, it is. Though for me, it's kinda tame. [Being connected to a magic internet community will do that to you.]

Tame? [Heh.]

Just what've you gotten yourself into, Tails?

[Fear not; he's not scolding. Mostly just curious. Has he been missing out?]

[Oh no worries. Tails knew Sonic wouldn't get upset.] It's kinda a long story.

Well, I'm all ears.

[ooc: By the way, I made some icons of Tails from some HD Unleashed scenes if you want 'em!]

[He thinks for a moment on how to word it.] Well, it's like this. A couple months after you restored the planet, beat Eggman again and return to normal, I got connected to an online community that allows me to contact people from other worlds. And it's not just humans either. There are demons, wizards... I've met a duck that goes by the name of Mr. Scrooge and I've heard about a platypus named Perry that's a secret agent. Heck, even gods show up on the community.

[He clears his throat.] But I'm getting off track. Anyway, the community allows people to travel to each others' worlds by world-hopping. I've recently built the X-Tornado, which allows for World hopping and I've traveled to a few other worlds even before then. However, the community itself has a mind of it's own. It has the ability to warp reality to some degree where we get hit by strange viruses and I don't mean the computer kind. The viruses can range from making someone act different than normal to changing them into something something else. I've been turned into a human twice myself. It can also temporary affect memories too. They don't last more than a week at least.

Sometimes the community even takes some of us to a different place at random for a short time. Just a few days ago, I ended up at some place called Disney World. It was pretty fun actually and one of the rare times where the community is nice to us.

But yeah, let's just say I've been through a lot since I joined the community.

[There were quite a few stories he could tell Sonic, but he wasn't sure if Sonic would want to hear them since Sonic doesn't exactly have a lot of patience.]

[When Tails said it's a lot, he meant a lot. Sonic looks completely dumbfounded for a second or two, while he takes all this in.]

Can an internet community really do all that?
